What happens if my traffic exceeds my allotment?
Our plans are billed based on expected traffic to your website. For many of our customers, their traffic is consistent. For others, it may rise and fall with the seasons or spike with launches or notoriety.
If you experience a spike or seasonal adjustment, don’t worry. We average your traffic over the course of three months, and the first three months you get the benefit of the doubt. This means that if your traffic explodes one month, but is consistent the others, we won’t ask you to move to a higher tier. And if your traffic is lower than the tier you selected, we’ll automatically adjust your pricing to reflect this.
If we need to change the tier you are on, we’ll notify you immediately and at least fifteen days before your next bill. But don’t worry – we don’t charge for past usage, so any additional fees will only be going forward (note that we do not refund for lower traffic either).
